Fast Eject USB hard drives Flash disks in Windows XP
Sometimes XP loses the USB icon / eject icon on the system tray. Right clicking external USB hard drives do not always have the Eject button.
here is a quick short cut to opening the "safely remove hardware" dialog box
On XP Desktop, Right click -> select New -> Shortcut
In "Type the location of the item", cut and paste the command below, including the percentage sign.
In the next screen, save it as EJECT USB or any name. Now, you have a short cut that will pop up the USB devices to stop and eject.
%windir%\system32\RunDll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll

Nexus One - 10 day review
I bought the Nexus One, the day it was release, signed up with T-Mobile for an unlimited plan. I figured, I will write about best practices and lessons learned by moving from a Treo 700P to Nexus One, my first Android phone.
This will be geared towards a business user moving from the once great Treo, the phone that started the revolution.
2 Weeks:
Pros:
Beautiful design
Makes iphone look dated
Powerful CPU and it is quite snappy (application launches)
Cons
Touch screen is not responsive enough at times
still figuring out how to use the Android platform
Applications crashes and wrong key presses are recognized
UI is not intuitive, at least, not as intuitive as the iPhone. Too many key presses to get to what I need.
Business
I was able to set up my Outlook/ exchange to sync my contacts
Set up google voice to act as my voicemail solution.
Google voice does not have a "mark as unread" feature
Toggle google-voicemail widget can be finicky.
Most used Apps:
Email
Messaging
Shortcuts on home screen /speed dials
GChat
Fring
Pandora
Video Player
Hope to compile a comprehensive post soon.
